FOURTH OF JULY PARTY
The Fourth of July party is fun for the whole family! It includes activities for kids, pool bathing, and raffle so that many can take prizes home! To top it off, beautiful fireworks decorate the sky at the end of the event at 7 p.m.
THANKSGIVING DINNER
We hold a semi potluck dinner the week before Thanksgiving. Each person takes a dessert or salad or mashed potatoes, and the organizers take the turkey, cranberry sauce, etc.
The Union Church of El Salvador is kind enough to let us hold our event in their location.
Finally, we have a hearty community dinner! Some of our members are famous for their signature desserts, such as Ketty, for her luscious pumpkin pies.
SCHOLARSHIP CEREMONY
The Scholarship Ceremony is held at the beginning of the year. We receive the scholarship recipients, along with their mentors and families, for a ceremony followed by snacks. Come to welcome them and meet them.
ANGEL TREE
Thanks to the Angel Tree program, kids in Usulutan receive Christmas presents. This program is done together with the Salvation Army. If you are interested, sign up to go on the trip that makes this activity possible! We travel to Usulutan with the presents and party refreshments and have fun being Santa Claus and giving kids refreshments as well.

To participate, you receive a card that tells you what present a child asked for. Next, you can purchase that present and wrap it up. Lastly, you turn in the present.
